Catering Services and Guidelines

How to order:

Our sales representatives are available to help you Monday thru Friday from 9am-5pm. Please feel free to call us, 734-272-6489, or email us,, to place an order or to ask any questions you may have. We recommend placing an order at least one week in advance of your event, but will do our best to accommodate shorter notice. Any orders placed or changed 48 business hours prior to your event will incur a $50 administrative fee.


In order to secure your event, we require a signed copy of your contract and payment information. Confirmation of final guest count and any menu changes are required 72 business hours prior to your event.


We conveniently accept University Shortcodes, major credit cards and business checks. For events of $2,000.00 or more, a non-refundable 50% deposit is requested one month in advance. The balance is due by the date of your event.

Minimum Orders:

To serve the needs of our customers, Glass House Catering does not have a minimum food and beverage order. Delivery fees begin at $25.


Our team of professionals are ServSafe food and alcohol certified and are trained for full service, high-end events. Glass House Catering is able to provide a variety of set-up options to best serve your event.

Delivery Only: Staff will drop off and set out.
Set-up/Clean-up: Staff will set up food and beverages, then return at the end of your event to clean up.
Staff stay: Waitstaff will set up and maintain your event throughout its duration.
Plated Meals: Waitstaff and bartenders will create a beautiful environment for your event. Place settings, centerpieces, bars and other details will be coordinated.
Rentals and Specialty Linens: Our event coordinators are happy to coordinate your entire rental and linen needs at no additional cost to you.

Service Charges:

Deliveries: Charges range from $25 to $125 depending on location of event and size of the order.
Gratuity: is left to the discretion of the client and no additional delivery or trucking fees are added to the final bill.
All Day Events: will be charged a minimum labor fee of $100.
Labor Fees: a 24% labor fee for all events will be based on a percentage of the total cost of the event (food, beverages, rentals and equipment).
Staffed Events: Staffing is priced based on the needs of your event

*Glass House Catering reserves the right to adjust the quoted labor cost as necessary depending on the needs throughout the event.

Menu Tastings:

Menu tastings are available upon request and will be held at Glass House. There will be a per person charge for the tasting.

Leftover Food:

Leftover food will remain with the client after the event, depending on its safety and condition. Staff will provide client with containers to package remaining food.

Menu Pricing:

Prices are subject to change based on market availability and pricing.
